She remained frozen, silent, as reality hit her, “…actually I have no idea what the hell I am,” she half muttered with a weak scoff, seemingly forgotten of her bloodstained hand as she brushed the side of her face and leaving a crimson smear.
For a moment Eva felt greatly frustrated that she knew so little about herself (no one got it! no one truly understood what it was like being her and being so oblivious to what she was …) but it was quickly overruled by the reminded of Jeremy’s fear: his rapidly beating heart. It zoned Eva’s focus back in like a moth to a flame and her expression immediately softened. Perhaps she should have handled the vampire who tried to attack Jeremy a little better instead of ripping out it’s heart …

“Let’s just get you outta here - back home where it’s safer.” Eva advised and to her surprise, her voice was a lot calmer than how it originally sounded. It gave her the strength to take cautionary step towards him, her non-stained hand held out and lips curling up into a small smile of what she hoped was comforting in some sense. “I ain’t gonna hurt yah’, I promise.”
this is an independent tvd roleplay account, with verses to accommodate both the book and the tv show series. my jeremy is canon divergent after season 2. in general, most of my verses are set specifically after 3x11 when jeremy is compelled by damon to leave mystic falls. this is the easiest place for crossovers to occur as well. i have seen through season five, but don't expect to see a lot of s4-8 on this blog. if you do, guaranteed it's not canon compliant.
two important plot items: i will never write the infidelity stuff of s3. and i won't write jeremy killing kol. these are personal choices.

biography
Jeremy is the adoptive brother and biological cousin of Elena Gilbert. Depending on his timeline, Jeremy is either a medium (prior to the collapse of the Other Side) or a member of the Brotherhood of the Five (a hunter). His best friends are Matt Donovan, Tyler Lockwood, and Bonnie Bennett.
Prior to the beginning of the series, his parents died in a tragic car accident. His sister, Elena, was also in the car that night, but managed to survive thanks to Stefan Salvatore, who rescued her before she could drown. As a way of coping with the accident, he started dealing and using drugs, but soon stopped after the death of his first girlfriend, Vicki Donovan, who had supposedly died of an overdose. Following the murder of his second girlfriend Anna, Jeremy purposely overdosed on pills after drinking vampire blood in the hope of becoming a vampire so he could turn off his humanity. However, his attempt to become a vampire failed, and the blood healed the damage the pills caused to his system.
Jeremy was shot by Sheriff Forbes after Damon dodged the bullet, and was revived by Bonnie, who at the time was channeling the power of over a hundred massacred witches at the witch burial ground. However, the spell that caused him to be revived also gave him the power to see ghosts, causing him to be haunted by the ghosts of his dead girlfriends Vicki and Anna.
After experiencing multiple traumatic events as a result of the supernatural drama in his town, including being compelled by Klaus to stand in front of a speeding car, Elena feared for his safety and arranged for Damon to compel him to live with extended family in Denver.
