rebekah will always have complete faith in him, no matter how many times he loses control, or how many times he fucks up. she has faith in him but also will always be honest with him. she won’t try to pretend with him, even if it’d make him feel better because she knows he knows she’d be lying. and rebekah would never lie to him. and she would never, never treat him like a child as he’s going through his transition and the rough patches at the beginning where he can’t really control himself. she’ll always protect him and be there to put him back together, like i said, but she wouldn’t baby him. (which imo is definitely something that elena and stefan and caroline and bonnie would do if he went back home.) she knows the process he has to go through and the things he has to deal with, and while the mf gang would try to “fix” him, rebekah would just always be there to guide him. not forcing anything on him, letting him deal with it in the way he has to.

[#this whole thing has me chocked up#but what really REALLY gets me#is how clearly you made it that rebekah would never honestly or truly judge him#for any actions or mistakes he may make as a new vampire#she will understand and be gentle with him#he could slaughter a whole town#and rebekah would not be pulsed#she would not be ashamed of him#she wouldn’t say things like ‘you can do better’ or 'you can try harder’#she will just pick him up and try to put the broken pieces back together#no matter how many times she has to#and it fits so perfectly with what you said about jeremy in the tags#which i agree with completely#they just fit for each other#and even if jeremy turns and leaves rebekah#she’ll still be close#and she’ll always be there to pick him back up and clean him off#no judgement or shame#just guilt and her undivided loyalty no matter if he shuns her or not#anyway i love them and i’m crying about this]

Prior to the beginning of the series, his parents died in a tragic car accident. His sister, Elena, was also in the car that night, but managed to survive thanks to Stefan Salvatore, who rescued her before she could drown. As a way of coping with the accident, he started dealing and using drugs, but soon stopped after the death of his first girlfriend, Vicki Donovan, who had supposedly died of an overdose. Following the murder of his second girlfriend Anna, Jeremy purposely overdosed on pills after drinking vampire blood in the hope of becoming a vampire so he could turn off his humanity. However, his attempt to become a vampire failed, and the blood healed the damage the pills caused to his system.
Jeremy was shot by Sheriff Forbes after Damon dodged the bullet, and was revived by Bonnie, who at the time was channeling the power of over a hundred massacred witches at the witch burial ground. However, the spell that caused him to be revived also gave him the power to see ghosts, causing him to be haunted by the ghosts of his dead girlfriends Vicki and Anna.
After experiencing multiple traumatic events as a result of the supernatural drama in his town, including being compelled by Klaus to stand in front of a speeding car, Elena feared for his safety and arranged for Damon to compel him to live with extended family in Denver.
